New Home, hardwood easily scratched?

Vienna Hardwood is a flooring company, not a species of wood. They sell all sorts and some woods are going to be harder than others. More importantly, and whether you bought unfinished or prefinished, it sounds like the finish isn't durable enough. Waxing would probably help, but so far as I know that is the duty of the homeowner, not the installer.
