Have you made any amusing mistakes while trying to speak another language?

I was staying with a friend in Germany and her brother had just gotten 10 euros from his grandma for his birthday and was planning on going to the kiosk to blow it on candy. Their parents were trying to talk him out of it. I had just gotten there from Sweden, and when I left, my friend had given me a giant bag of gummy candies. I knew gummy bears were "Gummibaerchen," so I figured other shapes were just "Gummis." And that's how I offered my friend's little brother a big bag of condoms right at the dinner table.
